Privacy Policy

Oshi‑Lab ("we", "us", "our", "I") is a browser-based tool for drafting and previewing MyOshi Custom CSS and Custom HTML. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the site.

Short version: the Theme Lab is designed to keep your work on your device. We do not ask you to create an account.

Data you provide

• Theme content: Anything you type or paste into the editor (Custom CSS, Custom HTML, and (optionally) template HTML) is processed in your browser to render the preview.
• Snapshots: If you use Snapshots, your theme content is stored in your browser’s localStorage so you can return later.

We do not intentionally transmit your theme content to our servers as part of normal operation. If you choose to share content via GitHub Issues/Discussions, that content is subject to GitHub’s privacy practices.

Data collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (for example, GitHub Pages and/or its CDN) may process basic request logs (such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps) to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.

We do not run first-party advertising and we do not knowingly sell personal information.

Cookies and local storage

• LocalStorage: Used for Snapshots and UI preferences (if enabled).
• Cookies: Oshi‑Lab does not require cookies to function, but your browser settings may affect storage behavior.

You can clear saved Snapshots by clearing site data for oshi-lab.app in your browser.

Third-party links and assets

The site links to third-party services (e.g., GitHub, MyOshi). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

If you reference remote images/fonts in your theme, your browser will request those assets from the third-party servers you specify.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the site. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please avoid pasting secrets (API keys, passwords) into the editor.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent revision.
